I entered NATO psyops in the year 2000. This is my twenty-fifth tour of duty. For twenty-five years, I’ve watched the wars change names, the enemies change faces, but the machinery never stops.

Our job was to shape perception—turn defeats into victories, make chaos look like order, make the people believe there was meaning. It wasn’t about bullets. It was about stories.

But here’s the truth: without a jubilee—without a reckoning that wipes the slate clean—all of it is failure. Every campaign, every message, every operation. Failure.

Twenty-five tours, and I’m still waiting for that day.
